Favourite destination to-date: Route 66, without a doubt. This was the first road trip we did. It gave me the bug for the open road and a desire to explore the world.
Where was disappointing: Toronto. It was like a permanent building site.
Favourite type of travel: Road trips. I also want to explore rail travel around Europe
Favourite day ever: Spending the whole day at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. We only planned to go for a couple of hours, but we stayed all day.
What didn't you expect much from that turned out great: A last minute cheap flight to Carcassonne in France. Such a beautiful place.
What's one thing that travelling has taught you: That it's ok if plans change. I like itineraries, but the best days sometimes come from the last-minute changes of plan.

Favourite destination to-date: I would have to say either Cape Town or Iguacu Falls in Argentina.
Where was disappointing: Dubrovnik - totally spoilt by over tourism.
Favourite type of travel: Moving around rather than being in one place, being active.
Favourite day ever: Going to the uninhabited island of Malomalo in Fiji to go snorkelling with my wife
What didn't you expect much from that turned out great: I had heard awful things about Delhi, but it was fascinating, and the hassle from touts and shop owners etc, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Best of all, I didn't get "Delhi Belly"
What's one thing that travelling has taught you: That the world is a much safer place than politicians and leaders would like us to think, and that the majority of people in the world are genuinely good people.

Favourite destination to-date: I loved Italy, Greece, and Germany so far.
Where was disappointing: Marrakech
Favourite type of travel: With my Mum and Dad 😀
Favourite day ever:
What didn't you expect much from that turned out great: I wasn't particularly looking forward to going to Germany, but I enjoyed the culture once I was there.
What's one thing that travelling has taught you: I much prefer the countryside and rural locations than visiting busy cities.
